"Respectful continuation of sport at all levels"
The Government gave their blessing for the 'respectful continuation of sport at all levels'. Taking their cue from this, the RFU confirmed that rugby could take place at all levels and 'strongly encouraged' respectful tributes at all games. Despite this, clubs would be allowed to postpone matches without penalty up to 4 hours before kick off.
Along with Premiership Rugby, the following clubs have subsequently confirmed that the following fixtures will go ahead as scheduled:
- Exeter Chiefs v Leicester Tigers - 3pm
- Newcastle Falcons v Harlequins - 3pm
- London Irish v Worcester Warriors - 3pm
- Bristol Bears v Bath - 17:30

- Ampthill v Jersey Reds - 3pm
- Caldy v Hartpury RFC - 3pm
- Ealing Trailfinders v Doncaster - 3pm
- London Scottish v Nottingham - 3pm

The RFU confirmed that official guidance for matches and rugby activity for the remainder of the National Mourning Period will follow as early as possible next week.
